A minimum of 25 hours training, of which 10 hours must be solo flying. This includes 5 hours navigation training, of which 3 hours must be solo.
Qualification time depends on how fast you develop the skills required to fly safely. Regular lessons consolidate your skills and reduce the amount of time relearning at the begining of each lesson.
Lessons will normally be between 2 hours in duration. This will allow briefing time before the lesson and debriefing after the flight.
You can start your flying lessons at any age. You must be 17 years of age or over to undertake your GFT and exams.
